Titan ease past iBUYPOWER

Titan are through to the upper bracket final after a fairly one-sided 2-1 battle (13-16 de_season, 16-2 de_dust2, 16-5 de_nuke) against iBUYPOWER.

The American team opened up the map with two rounds thanks to Keven "AZK" Lariviere's two mid-air headshots on the B bombsite in the pistol round. Titan managed to win the first gunround as well as the anti-eco afterwards and started racking up rounds despite iBUYPOWER's attempts with a double-sniper setup.

That was until Sam "DaZeD" Marine's team came back with four rounds in a row after 7-2 with Titan trying to get quickly into both of the sites. Before switching sides, Titan managed to win the remaining three including one with Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans' four kills on a half buy.

A quick strategy for the B bombsite was dealt with by Titan thanks to a well-placed grenade, but afterwards we only saw a similar situation to the one in the first half.

After technical issues, iBUYPOWER came back with more and more rounds for themselves with Marine rocketstarting it with two headshots in a three-versus-three. 

SmithZz's AWP performance was monstrous

Only one round at 12-8 could Titan win even though they were on an eco, but every single one of the remaining ones were taken by the Americans with quite a lot of B bombsite pushes to make de_season 16-13 in their favour.

Titan obviously wanted to send a message on de_dust2 with Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux on the helmet, as after Richard "shox" Papillon's triple on mid while defending a B split, he went on a killing spree.

A chance offered itself for iBUYPOWER at 4-0, but it was Papillon once again saving the round for his team with two AWP kills while defending the B bombsite. Even though Dubourdeaux died in the seventh round, Nathan "NBK" Schmitt managed to survive in pit and caught two Americans off guard to make it 7-0.

Five more rounds straight went into the hands of Titan, iBUYPOWER were trying to get into the A bombsite over and over and met with an AWP in hands of Dubourdeaux, who finished the half with nineteen kills and two deaths. iBUYPOWER were able to win two out of three last rounds, but four kills coming from Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom shut any chances down and Titan took the second map with 16-2.

Switching over to de_nuke, Titan had an immaculate start to the last map, as iBUYPOWER who started as Terrorists rushed the upper bombsite and met with the defense unsuccessfully.

A push ramp in the first gunround resulted in a one-versus-two, but Titan came out on top with 3-0. Three more close rounds happened afterwards, where two players left from Titan took care of the win and took it to 8-0 eventually.

Yet another one-versus-two attempt was unsuccessful at 9-0 and it was Dubourdeaux and Papillon once again on fire, who led Titan to a 10-0 lead. One round went into the hands of the American then, but that was almost all that was left for them, Titan went on to take most of the remaining ones for 13-2.

The second pistol round of de_nuke went to iBUYPOWER that time around when Titan tried attacking outside to get into the lower area. Two anti-ecos were dealt with, but the first gunround saw Droolans flanking two people under cat to get back on track for 14-5. Only two rounds afterwards Titan took the win on the last map, as well as the whole game at 16-5.
